01. About us

AppLimiter and its website are operated by LxN. This notice explains how information is handled by the app, website, download service, and feedback form. Contact us through the website feedback form with privacy questions.

02. On-device data

The app stores app limits, usage intervals, and settings on your device to apply limits and calculate allowances. It has no internet permission, does not upload this data to us, and does not read page text in restricted apps. The app is configured to exclude its data from Android cloud backup and device transfer.

You can change or remove rules in the app. To remove all data stored by AppLimiter, find it in Android Settings and clear its storage, or uninstall it. This does not erase usage records kept by Android itself.

03. Permissions and settings

Accessibility is used to identify the foreground app, display a pause reminder when a limit applies, and guide you back to the home screen. Usage access provides usage time for daily and weekly allowances. Allowing background activity helps limits keep working.

You choose whether to enable these permissions and settings, and can revoke or change them in Android Settings. Turning them off may prevent the related limits or usage calculations from working.

04. Website and downloads

The website and download service use Cloudflare and OSS for web delivery, download redirects, and APK storage. Visits and downloads send network requests to these services, involving connection information such as IP addresses and requested URLs. Related service logs are retained for 30 days. The app’s lack of internet permission does not apply to the website or download service.

The website stores your chosen language locally in your browser for future visits. You can remove this preference by clearing the website’s data in your browser.

05. Feedback

When you submit feedback, your name, email address, and plain-text message are sent through Cloudflare email services to the LxN maintainers’ inboxes to handle your feedback and reply. Your submission is retained permanently as email in those inboxes; you can request deletion through the website feedback form. Please do not include passwords, verification codes, or other sensitive information.

The feedback page uses Cloudflare Turnstile verification, and the server uses the request IP for verification and rate limiting to reduce spam. Related service logs are retained for 30 days. This information is separate from the rules and usage records stored on your device.

06. Contact and data requests

For privacy questions or requests to access, correct, or delete feedback you submitted, contact LxN through the website feedback form. Describe your request and when you sent the original feedback. Use the same email address to help us verify your request.

07. Updates to this notice

When this notice changes, we will publish the updated information and date on this page.
